Stories: Nearly killed on mission
Displaying 1 - 1 of 1 -- Add Story
Elder Smith and I were tracking that morning. On our way back we were walking on the sidewalk heading towards the Stake center. It started to rain lightly. Over a little hill a car came towards us and lost control. Another car from the opposite direction hit this car. The car coming towards us hit both of us as we were walking. I hung on to the bumper, got dragged for 50 feet or so, and my companion got flipped over the car and fell onto the ground near the sidewalk. Neither one of us were hurt. We should have been killed but the Lord protected us. I was out on my mission only three months and will always remember that faith and belief played a big part of my mission in having success. |

LDS QUOTE: |
"Brothers and sisters, the missionaries need our faith and prayers. Pray fervently every day for their safety and protection, for this is one very important way we all can support them in accomplishing their essential assignment of proclaiming the gospel to all the world. I bear testimony that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We are engaged in his work. I testify that through the faith and prayers of all members of the Church, we will continue moving this great work forward to the final victory. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
