| My companion and I arrived at Zone Conference early so that she could pass off scriptures for her GOLD AWARD.
Before we began the Zone Conference the missionaries that were there began to sing hymns. Since my companion was still passing off scriptures, I was the only sister in the room.
One of the elders wanted to sing YE ELDERS OF ISRAEL. So we sang it.
After we sang it, I said that I wanted to sing Hymn #309.
The elders began turning to that hymn. I began to hear protest from some of the elders. I said "It's only fair.' They agreed and began to sing the song.
I had a WHOLE room full of elders singing AS SISTERS IN ZION. It was SOOOOOO FUNNY! |
