We have seven wonderful children and twelve super grandchildren. I retired from Northern Arizona University after 29 years, and we relocated to Providence in Cache Valley, Utah, which we love dearly. I have served, among other things, as an LDS Institure of Religion Director in Greeley, Colorado; a Bishop in Flagstaff, Arizona; and Lynne & I completed a full-time mission at the Church History Archives in Salt Lake City. We then served as Church Service Missionaries living at home and continuing to work on projects for the Church History Archives. These projects (for me, at least) utilized my German language skills, which I have kept alive ever since my mission in the South German / Bavarian missions. I currently serve as Gospel Doctrine teacher in my ward, and I am also working on a German translation project for the Church History Archives. What a blessing that mission was some 60 years ago -- and continues to be. |
