After dental school, served 3 years in Army Dental Corps in Karlsruhe, Germany. Was branch president of servicemen's branch 2 years. 2 sons born in Heidelberg Army Hospital. Opened practice in San Francisco upon discharge. Divorced,married Joan Barber 1 year later. Adopted girl and boy, so raised 4 children--all still live in Bay Area. 1 grandson. Retired 2005, moved to St. George shortly thereafter. Favorite activity: Off roading in modified Land Rover all over southern Utah, and spending summer at Fish Lake near Capitol Reef NP (especially when temps hit 110+ degrees in St. George |
