Graduated from BYU in 1996 with an English major and Hebrew minor. Studied Hebrew and Arabic at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1996-1999. Lived in a Palestinian village called Zaim (below the Mt. of Olives) for last six months of that time period. Married Diane Liu in August 2001.

Currently I am finishing up my master's degree in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Utah.

We are currently enjoying life in New York City (upper East Side).
