Comments: We finally made it back to Guatemala for the first time (January 2007). We had an amazing and miracle-filled experience. I created a website complete with photos of our trip and a blog of each day. http://web.mac.com/goldingpublications/iWeb/Return%20to%20Guatemala
I'm living in Murrieta, just a few miles from my hometown of Perris. Gwen and I were married a couple months after my return from the mission. My eldest two children (Auburn and Dave) both gave us grandsons in 2006, our first. Our third child, Greg, and his wife have a boy who was born in 2008. Now Auburn and Dave have little girls to go with their boys. Our youngest, Jordan, just returned from his mission to the El Salvador San Salvador West/Belize Mission. We are all going in August to visit his mission, dedicate the El Salvador Temple and visit Xela once again. All three of my boys served Spanish-speaking missions (Ecuador, Mexico and El Salvador). I'm currently serving in a Spanish branch in our stake. Spanish all around! Gwen and I attended the funeral of Pres. O'Donnal. No doubt, it was one of the most spirit- and love-filled experiences of my life. Brought back incredible feelings for a great man and a great place. |
