Nearly twenty years have gone by since my wife, Marta Rodriguez, passed away leaving me two daughters. One of those two daughters, Shery Eliza Williamson R., had remained in Cunen for her first fifteen years in the care of Jacinto Rodriguez Brol, her cousin. Shery has since joined us here in southern California. She speaks her mother's Cunenteco still and speaks both English and Spanish perfectly. Eowyn, Shery's older sister, won a scholarship to UCLA and Shery is in her second year at Pasadena City College. |
