I was just recalling the mission (as I have frequently) and some of my associations therein. I may have gained a notorious reputation for "bragging" but I still boast of my mission- my companions (several of them at least), the church members and leadership, and of course President Ririe and all the Ririe family. I recount (or testify even) how I observed the raising of the bar manifest with the quality of the incoming elders and sisters (one of whom I married.) I also have to make a conscious effort to remember the training I received wasn't genetically encoded into my persons (as it is very much a part of who I am now.) Jennilee (aka Sister Hahn) and I have been married 4 years now and we just celebrated a birthday for our amazing little two year old, Lily. She had fun, as did we and some of friends and family. |
