| Comments: Additonal companions included Tiny Gochner (sp?), Eric Ebling and Elder Harrison. In the MTC, I was paired with Elder Bunderson and Elder Draper. It is hard to believe it has been almost 25 years since I returned from my mission. I married a recent convert who had moved into my home ward about nine months after my mission. I graduated from BYU in 1983 and completed a masters program at the University of South Carolina in 1985. We have three kids, two daughter (21 and 15) and one son (17). I have worked in the human resources field since 1985 with variety of companies in various locations. I recently left Citigroup after 7 years to accept a position with CNH (Case New Holland) in Fargo, ND. I have ocassionally been able to use my Indonesian in work settings, but it is definitely pretty rusty now. I have not returned to Indonesia, but I am seriously thinking about a trip next summer. Last summer I took the family to Japan for 10 days and it was a great experience. (We had considered Indonesia, but it appeared a little dangerous for a family vacation at the time.) I have not wavered in my testimony and continue to share the Gospel. Best regards. | |
