I married Kelly in 1987 and we now have three children. One in high school, one in Jr. High, and the last one in kindergarten.
We moved to Michigan from Washington in 2000 to be closer to Kelly's family. We live in the Green Bay Stake, which I believe is one of the largest by area (not by population). We are in the Chicago Temple district. I am currently serving as the Ward Mission Leader which is one of the best callings one can have. My favorite Ward Mission Leader was John Holcomb who was the mission leader in Bergamo when I was serving there. He came up with the best ward activities!
The missionaries that have served here in Marquette over the last six years, since me moved here, have all been awesome. We had sisters serving here when we moved here and now we have elders. I am looking forward to the day we can have both sisters and elders serving here at the same time.
I study Italian still, but rarely get the opportunity to speak with others. My heritage is Scottish, but I feel 1/2 Italian. |
