J. Halvor Clegg, 57, Cherry Hill 2nd Ward, Orem Utah Cherry Hill Stake; to serve as president of the Italy Milan Mission; bishop; former high councilor, bishop's counselor, Young Men president, priests quorum adviser, Scoutmaster and assistant Scoutmaster, and missionary in the Spanish American Mission; professor at BYU; received bachelor's degree in Spanish from BYU, and master's degree in Spanish linguistics and doctorate in romance philosophy, both from the University of Texas; born in Provo, Utah, to Joseph Heber and Ruth Scorup Clegg; married Miriam Webb, eight children. She is a Relief Society teacher and Cub Scout den leader; former Young Women president and counselor, Relief Society homemaking leader, Primary and Relief Society teacher; attended LDS Business College; born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ralph Smith and Mildred Whipple Webb. |
