Ciao tutti!
La vita e' bellissima! I've been married now for almost 5 years (yikes, that means I'm getting older) and we have two beautiful kids, Palmer Dean (2 1/2) and Portia Leigh (8 months). I work at a residential treatment facility as the Literacy Coordinator. I was a high school English teacher for 3 years and then quit to be a mom. We're still, yes still, in Provo but my husband, Ronell, will be applying to grad schools this fall and will hopefully start an MBA next (2008) fall. Meanwhile, he works for HP as a marketing consultant.
I got to work with the young women as YW president last year and then my husband was called to be the 2nd counselor in the bishopric (I laughed when the stake president told us, especially the part about him being ordained a high priest at 27. That's just great!)and I had baby number 2, so I had to be released. I miss the YW. What better way to serve than hanging out with the teenagers! I hate sitting by myself at church, especially with a two-year-old and a crawler, but blessings come from church service, right? I love seeing the pictures of your families! Adorable. Vi voglio tanto bene! |
