Ok, so one time Erin Brunt and I were companions. We were serving in Firenze where it can get really hot. Of course there is no a/c in Italy. Maybe in the mission home but certainly not in our apartment. So there we were; walking down the street with sweat dripping down our faces. Both of us were really weak and not feeling well. We couldn't tell if we were sick or just really hot. We went home to check and it turned out that we both had really high temps. We were so weak and too weak to cook (we were starving), so we made up a little rice on the stove cause thats effortless. We knew we had to get our fevers down so we just filled the tub up with cold water and got in with all our clothes on and ate our rice. Looking back this experience makes me laugh but was one of many that helped me develop a friendship with my companions, that will last an eternity. Missions are a wonderful thing!

LDS QUOTE:
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord’s work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
- Elder L. Tom Perry
Ensign, Nov. 2001
