After graduating from Ricks College and BYU as a single man, I took a job in Phoenix Arizona. My wife Lauri had been waiting for me to graduate, so that she wouldn’t have to put me through school. She had traveled with her parents on vacation to Japan in 1980, so she already had a love for Japan and its people. We were married in 1982.
After spending some time in southern California, and the Washington DC area, we moved back to Chandler Arizona, where I’ve been working in the aerospace industry at Honeywell, since 1986.
We have 5 children, Calvert married (Erin Benson) in college, served a mission to Hermosillo Mexico. Bethany married (Joshua Mitchell) and living in Sanger California with our two grandsons. Blaine served in the South Africa, Johannesburg mission. Lauri and I spent 17 days in Africa at the end of his mission. Carla in college, and living at home. Jeslyn Senior in High School. |
