I met my wife, Melanie, at Ricks College shortly after returning from Japan. We then both graduated from the University of Wyoming. We have three children -- Katie, 19, Doug, 16, and Kevin, 11 -- and live in Casper, Wyoming. I'm the state editor of the Casper Star-Tribune; Melanie is a junior high school teacher. I'm the High Priest group leader in the Casper 3rd Ward.
