This is Gumby Choro. I have some sad news. Lindsay Choro passed away in a car accident on Saturday, January 26, 2013. He was 53 years old. He was in my group in the MTC and we were DL's together in Gifu...he had one side of the Nagara river and I had the other. We were roommates at BYU after we got home. Lindsay Choro was a man without guile, a truer friend you could never find. That was the cowboy way and Lindsay Choro was the best of all cowboys. He now knows and understands the Plan of Salvation better than we do, being reunited with his beloved Mother and Father and his lovely wife Janell. His daughter with Janell, Isabel, is now parent-less. She was 15 years old at his passing. She is 18 years old now. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers. We love you Lindsay Choro. You lived a life worthy of Celestial glory. May the Savior's Love and Atonement embrace you and yours as you move forward in your Eternal progression! Until we meet again my brother...
The Link to his Obituary is under his Personal Website window in his alumni registration. A fund was set up to help Scott's 15-year-old daughter, Isabel, who is now left without a parent. I don't know if it is still active or not. You can contact any Wells Fargo Bank under the account name, "Isabel Lindsay Donation Fund" and see if it is.
