Boundary Changes in Japan Missions 28 Jan 2007
Upon hearing through the grapevine that there were going to be changes in the boundaries of missions in Japan I emailed President Stevenson and this is what he had to say about what is happening in the country we all love so dearly. I hope you are as excited about these changes as I am!

The Area Presidency has announced the Japan Kobe Mission is being reopened. We announced it to the missionaries this week and in Sacrament meeting in all of the units in Japan. On or about the first of March the three Stakes in Osaka, the Kyoto Stake and Shingu branch along with the Kobe Stake and Fukuchiyama District will become the Kobe Mission. The Nagoya Mission will receive the Kanazawa Stake and the Nagano
District from Tokyo Kita Mission, and the Shizuoka Stake from Tokyo Mission.
What a great blessing to the Work in Japan. The Tokyo North and South Missions will combine to become the new Tokyo Mission. President Tucker, formerly of the Minami Mission will Transfer to Kobe to preside over the Kobe Mission.
