Comments:
I married Julie Dixon after my mission and we have 5 wonderful children, 3 girls and 2 boys. We all endured medical school and residency for 9 years, where I slowly forgot much of my Japanese language. I had enjoyed minoring in Japanese at BYU, and even translating for General Conference. Julie has served in the church as Stake YW president, Primary president, RS president and several other primary callings. I have served as gospel doctrine instructor, EQ presidency, primary, high council, 2 bishoprics and now as bishop.
We love the Lord and have strong testimonies of the Atonement and gospel. I miss Japan very much and all the missionaries, mission presidents, members and people with whom I came in contact. Hopefully my family will be able to return soon. Thank you all for your good influences on my life.
