Comments:
I had been in the Japan East Mission for just over a year when the mission split and I ended up in the Sendai Mission. I was in Hirosaki, Fukushima, and just finished 6 months in Sendai before the mission split. When it split I was in Yamagata, then Aomori, and finished in Koriyama. I went back to BYU after my mission. Graduated in 1978 and worked for Kemper Insurance in Chicago for 2 years. Returned to BYU for graduate school getting married along the way. Graduated a year later and have since been living in Denver for 29 years. I have two adopted sons, 34 and 32 who are married and living in the Denver area. My daughter, 27, went on a mission to Romania, is married, has a baby daughter, and lives in Provo while her husband finishes school. My next son, 24, went on a mission to Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is at BYUI now. My youngest son is 17.
