After returning home attended Idaho State University and then moved to Hawaii for 10 years to attend graduate school. Was able to use my Japanese often and even visit Japan for a month on a research project.

Currently teach Ecology and Genetics for Arizona Western College and Northern Arizona University.

Have served in the young mens, the Bishopric, the cub scouts and HP group. Have two sons. One is a student at UA and the the other is in high school
