Comments:
I was one of the few who were called on a 24 month mission and then was changed while I was in the MTC to 18 months. After a wonderful time in Japan, I came home and found my eternal companion, Alece Hebdon, and we got married and have 5 boys and 3 girls.

I haven't been to a mission reunion for a long time. But every year on Sep 17, our family gets together for what we call "Japanese Day". We celebrate the day I got home from Sendai. All of our children have learned how to use chopsticks since they were born and they're pretty good at it.

Looking back, I realize that in almost every speaking assignment I have, I use things that I learned on my mission, or an experience that I had in Japan. Missions are definitely one of the more important things we have done in our lives.

Thanks to Todd for maintaining this great website, it's been fun to read about all the alumni from this mission.
