Phil Chiles 17 Oct 2011
Webmaster Note:
Thanks to Teruya RM Guy Hurst for letting us know of the passing of much-loved Phillip E Chiles Choro. A page honoring him here on the RM Site has been set up in the In Memoriam section. The page includes funeral and viewing service information as well links to a family website and a PayPal donation page to assist the family with expenses.

Phil had a history of heart problems for the past 15 years but it was believed to be largely under control so his death came as a surprise to all of us. Phil's ward (Harmony Park Ward, Kimball Arizona Stake) had a gathering at the Harmony Park the evening he passed. It was very well attended by ward, family, and stake folks. My wife and I got to spend a little time with Dixie, Phil's wife and Phil's son Cory. Dixie and Cory were with Phil at the hospital when he passed. Cory gave his dad a blessing shortly before he passed away. Phil lived and died solid in the faith. His son Cory spoke with tears about how much his dad loved his mission. Phil will be greatly missed by all.
