Jerry C. Frei This picture was given to me by a ward member, brother Norlander, after I received my mission call. He had been in Sendai Japan while serving in the military in 1954 and took this picture of a Sunday School class. When I showed it to President Fukuda he exclaimed "I am in this picture!" He is 5 rows back sitting next to the aisle on the right. You can just see his face. It is amazing how a picture originating in Sendai can make it half the way around the world to Santa Clara Utah and then return to Sendai 36 years later when someone in the picture is serving as mission president. It is a small world! 11 Oct 2008
