Refugee Family Help 26 Jun 2008
I received an email from a family looking for some swahili-speaking translators for a refugee family living in Salt Lake City. Here is a copy of the email
========================================

Hi Jeremy,
This is a longshot but I was wondering if you knew anyone that could offer a few hours of help translating for a Swahali-speaking refugee family in Salt Lake. As part of a youth conference in our Holladay North Stake, this Thurs/Friday we are helping refugee families within SLC and I have just recently met with our group's family and discovered that communication is going to be rather difficult. Anyhow, would you know any return missionaries (or natives) within SLC that might be able to help us on very short notice? It would only take about an hour possibly Thursday night
(6pm). I've spoken with the father and mother and understand that they speak Swahili and Kurundi. I would appreciate any kind of response or advice. Thanks and regards.
