The second stake in Russia was organized this past Sunday, 9 September 2012, in St. Petersburg. Elder Russell M. Nelson presided. Elder Gvido Senkans, an area authority from Riga, Latvia, presented the new stake presidency. Stake high council, Relief Society, bishops and stake patriarch were also presented. There were talks by the new stake presidency, the mission president, the stake Relief Society president, Elder and Sister Senkans, and the area president and his wife. Elder and Sister Nelson both spoke.
