| I'll never forget this one day when Sister Villegas and I were tracting this neighborhood in Columbia Falls. You know the saying "everybody and their dog"? Well, everybody in this neighborhood did have a dog, and most of them were out in the yard, or on leashes, and, on occasion, running loose through the neighborhood.
As we were tracting, this one dog in somebody's backyard started barking at us. Then his neighbor-dog wanted to join in on the fun too. Pretty soon the entire neighborhood of dogs was barking at us as we went from house to house, trying to find lost souls. I seriously think that missionaries emit some sort of scent that triggers a hormone in a dog's nose that makes it want to bark at us like crazy. |
