Comments: My wife Tracy and I have been married for 25 years and are living in St. Louis MO now. Tracy is Elder Mears' sister, and I met her while visiting him in California, which means you should tell every missionary to be nice to their companion. You never know.
I have served in the Elders Quorum, taught Sunday School, been Ward Financial Clerk, Membership Clerk, Ward Clerk, Executive Secretary, High Priest Group leadership, in the Bishopric, Ward Mission leader, and the Stake Young Men Presidency.
I work at Castle and Cooke. My oldest child Ashley was married at the end of 2005 at the St. Louis Temple to Jeremy, a wonderful returned missionary from Sacramento, California. She and her husband graduated from BYU in the summer of 2007. They have moved to St. Louis where Jeremy goes to chiropractic school. Our granddaughter Addie is happy to be living near us. She is the cutest and smartest grandbaby there is. She also tells me that I'm the best grandpa. At least that is what I hear.
My middle child Adam attended Southern Virginia University (that little school in Virginia with BYU standards) and played tennis for them. He served a mission in the Germany Frankfurt Mission. He is currently attending BYU.
My youngest daughter will be starting BYU in the summer of 2010. She is also playing tennis. The boys pay too much attention to her though. The kids grow up too fast. Sounds like something my mother said. She was right.
Sadly, my father passed away six years ago. I miss him very much; he had blessed my life. My mother joined the church shortly after that, and was able to see her grandchild sealed in the temple not long after. She was remarried in the summer of 2009.
My cousin in Germany has also since joined the church. We have had very full lives for the past few years. |
