O'Donnal | Katie Patten (Dahl) | Page K. Petrucka | Your Occupation: Intelligence and International Security Policy | Comments: I returned home in August of 1996, and moved to Colorado to help my mother care for my terminally ill father.
In September of 1997, I move to Washington D.C. to work in the U.S. Congress where I stayed for the next 3 years. During that time, I also attended Georgetown University, where I graduated with a B.A. in Social & Public Policy.
After graduating from Georgetown, I spent two months in Africa volunteering with a local NGO. Upon my return to the U.S., I was hired to be a member of the White House Advance Team. Since joining the team, I have had the opportunity to fly on Air Force II, and to travel to the Netherlands and Jordan with Vice President Cheney. I currently work for a think-tank that deals with national security and defense policy. I am also an ordinance worker in the D.C. temple.
I owe so much of what I am and what I have accomplished to my missionary experience in New Jersey. |

LDS QUOTE: |
"It is not just that the Book of Mormon teaches us truth, though it indeed does that. It is not just that the Book of Mormon bears testimony of Christ, though it indeed does that, too. But there is something more. There is a power in the book which will begin to flow into your lives the moment you begin a serious study of the book. You will find greater power to resist temptation. You will find the power to avoid deception. You will find the power to stay on the strait and narrow path." |
