Hello, I'm trying to help my Mom track down the missionaries that taught and baptized her and my father. Any help would be appreciated.
The Elder's names were Grant Rapier, and J Alan Clayton. They taught Barbara Hnat, and Luis Sanchez.
It was in Elizabeth, New Jersey May 1974 so the mission does not exist anymore.
As far as I can tell it was the Eastern States Mission. In June 1974 that was changed to the New York, New York Mission. This has since become a couple of New York and New Jersey Missions.
If anyone has any information that could help I would very much appreciate it. Thank you.

I am looking for a couple Sister [Martha] Bigler and I taught in Sparta, December 1992, Allen and Melanie Whitesides. We wrote while I was out, but lost contact when I went home, so I don't know what happened with them. I cannot find them anywhere. Any leads would be helpful, thanks.

I received the following news yesterday, concerning Sister Diane Steward from the Patterson NJ Branch:
"Sister Diane Steward AKA Mama, passed away last night. She was receiving dialysis treaments and did not regain conciousness during her treatment. Now she is hopefully free from pain and reunited with her beloved family members that have already passed. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers."
Her funeral services will be held on Wednesday Feb 15th.

Looking for past Elders who served in this branch during the summer of 1997,98,or 99. I was the one coming home from playing baseball. The Elders stopped me and had a few lessons with me after that. I lived in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ in a red house. After i stopped contact, one of the Elders rang my bell to use the bathroom. When he was done, i haven't heard from him.
