I think about someone or something from my mission every day. My mission companions are among my very best friends. My husband and I now serve as Sunday school teachers for the 16-18 year olds. Two young men have left on missions from our class and we will be sending another off in December and another shortly thereafter. It is amazing to see how their testimonies have grown in the past 20 months; and it is amazing to see how strong the testimonies are of these young men and women compared to when I was that age. I am awed by the power with which they live their lives and their testimonies. They are and will be amazing missionaries. My own testimony has certainly grown as I have witnessed their examples. I know God lives; I know that Jesus Christ lives and loves us. I know that through their perfect plan we can live eternally, perfectly. I know that his work is perfect and there is no greater satisfaction than to do that work - wherever we may be in our lives. |
