Comments:
I am currently serving as the bishop of the New River Ward, Pembroke Virginia Stake. Wayne,
My wife and I have just been called to serve as area welfare specialists in
the Asia North Area. We are very excited. I have not been back to Japan since my mission in the mid-1960s. My wife has never been to Japan but she served a mission in both Hong Kong and the Philippines and loves the people of the Far East. If all goes well, we should be in Tokyo in April.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
