Dan passed away Nov. 20, 2004 of heart failure. born Sept. 14, 1944 to Leland George and Sarah Ellen Adkins. married Renee Thomas in SLC Temple 1966, and they have 6 sons/ 2 daughters. graduated BYU 1969. officer in the Air Force, and he received his law degree -BYU 1977. church assignments included zone leader, assistant to the mp, Elders president, YM pres, bishop, stake pres, temple worker. Vocational included Assistant U.S. Attorney, attorney, special prosecutor, Idaho legislator. Survivors: wife Renee (Thomas), children Daniel Thomas (Boulder, Colo.), Jillyn Peterson (Draper, Utah), Curtis (Provo), Clayton (Boulder, Co.), Kyle (Pahoa, Hawaii), Anthony & Ethan (Boise) and Janette Fisher (Boise); his mother Sarah Ellen Adkins Hawkley (Pocatello). Interment at Neeley Cemetery - American Falls. Five of his sons have served missions and one served in the Japan Kobe mission. Ranae, was chosen as Idaho's 'Mother of the Year' in 2000. reneehawkley@gmail.com
