Albert W. Hoffmann, Sr. died October 9th, 2004. He was born to Andrew William and Muriel Hoffmann, April 2, 1938, in Jamaica, NY. He grew up in NY and served in the Marine Corps where he joined the LDS church. After serving a mission in Korea, he attended BYU where he married Patricia Nau -May 18, 1962, in the SLC Temple.He graduated from B YU and received his masters degree from NYU. He had a 36 year teaching career in the LDS Church Ed Sys. He had a deep love for learning. He was an architect in the summer and found great satisfaction in designing and overseeing construction. He was also actively involved in marking Pioneer and Pony Express trails. He is survived by his wife Patricia, his children Albert (Rena), David (Melanie), Michael (Misti), and Rebecca, his brother Charles and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services Friday Oct. 15, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sharon Stake Center. Interment- Provo City Cemetery.
