Comments:
Since my mission in 1956-59 I went back to Japan as a missionary with my wife, Rae. We served a mission in the Japan Tokyo North Mission from 3 November 1998 until 24 May 2000. She was mission secretary for Pres. Tadashi Komatsu and I was mission financial secretary. We really enjoyed the time we spent there working with these wonderful people and would be willing to return if the Lord wanted us to. We are now serving as ordinance workers in the Manti Temple one day a week. Also, we are involved in the Monroe Utah Stake family history and extraction program. Rae and I are the directors of the Monroe Utah Stake Family History Center. Thank you for keeping us updated on the events of the NFEM. May the Lord bless you in your work.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
