Sister Marlowe and I had the opportunity to serve in the Nagoya mission office with President and Sister Gary Stevenson. We were released about two years ago. (2007) Again this was a great experience. President Stevenson has now been called to the 1st Quorum of Seventy. His current assignment is Area President over all of Asia.
President Andrus, you may or may not remember, but I was the Elder you transferred from Nagoya with my companion to be Branch President in Fukuoka. I had a wonderful experience there. It helped me grow up a lot. I loved those people.
Kent W. Marlow died December 28th of pancreatic cancer. He served in the NFE Mission from 1958 to 1961. His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4th at the Ammon 2nd Ward Chapel, 1100 S.
