As a side note to the Japan Missionary Training Center. There was a missionary Japanese language training center started in 1968 at Church College of Hawaii later renamed BYU-Hawaii Campus. I was privileged to become one of the original instructors at that center along with other returned missionaries until it was moved back to Provo. Just a little bit of history.
