Comments:
I have worked for the same company for 38 years although it has had several names: Sperry, Sperry Univac, Unisys, Loral, Lockheed Martin, L-3 Communications. I have served in four different bishoprics - 2nd counselor twice and 1st counselor twice - never been a bishop. I have served on the high council, been High Priest Group Leader, Ward and Stake Executive Secretary (not at the same time), taught the High Priest Group, taught Project Temple classes, taught Teacher Preparation class. I have served in the Salt Lake Temple as an ordinance worker for 17 years, 3 of which I was an assistant supervisor and 7 and a half of which I was the shift supervisor. I have one child, named Drew. He is presently serving in the England London Mission in Norwich, England.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
