We are living in the Chicago area now. Brad is nearing the end of his medical studies and we will be SO glad when it's done! We have 3 sweet daughters: Emily (5 yrs), Jane (2 1/2 yrs) and Kate (2 1/2 yrs). Since having children, primarily the twins, I've seen the start of many things: age spots, crow's feet, and gray hairs! More importantly, though, I've realized our mission for the Lord never ends, it just moves onto different ground. Where it was once tracting every morning, it's now a marathon of daily activities to take care of a family. Where it was once teaching spiritual discussions, it's now teaching my children about Who made the flowers and the beautiful sunset, and how to pray to Him. We love this area and hope to stay here after Brad finishes school. The school district is excellent for children with disabilities (our Emily has Autism) and we love our ward! Life is good! |
