Currently I'm in the Woodland Park Ward in the Los Altos Stake. I'm the Webelos leader for three different wards and I currently work as a Shipping Clerk for a high end print shop. I've been married to wife Karen since Feb. 2000 and we have a beautiful 3 month old baby girl, named Byrnn Elizabeth Hartley. I also attend SJSU and I'm currently working toward my BA in English. Hopefully in about a year I'll be done with my degree and I'll be looking for a teaching position. I'm often amazed at how much my mission taught me, even now five years later I'll be sitting in my Institute class and I'll remember something from my mission and relate it to my life now. I'm grateful for the two years I spent in those small towns and with the strong saints who lived there. I learned to smile and to talk to others (Build On Common Beliefs) I use it all the time. Without my mission I don't think I would have met my wife or have the wonderful family that I now am a part of. |
