What to say? I served from June 1988 to June 1990. I got married in 1995. I am the computer network engineer for a small civil engineering firm (about 100 people). I also co-admin a small website. It's all about computer games (you have to relax somehow).
I haven't been back to Oklahoma, although I've always wanted to and even semi-scheduled it a couple of times. I remember all the places and companions like it was yesterday.
I wish other people knew about this site (I just happen to know the guy who started mission.net).
update: I just bought a house and moved to Lehi Utah. In my last ward I was Gospel Doctrine instructor. No calling yet in this new ward, and it's kind of nice to relax for a short while. I hope you are all doing well.
update 12/28/2004: I am a Gospel Doctrine instructor in my ward.
update 31 March 2008: Still Gospel Doctrine instructor. Still in Lehi. Same job for an Engineering company but we have grown to over 150 people now. I've been here 10 years.
My wife and I traveled back to Oklahoma two years ago. It was fun to be back and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Some little branches had become two wards (wonderful!). Some little branches were still little branches. I do love Oklahoma. |
