Looking for Elders Platt and Hunt (1977) 29 Jun 2024
I was found by Elder Robert Platt from Cedar City, Utah and his companion, and taught and baptized by Elder john A. Hunt of Smithfield, Utah and his companion from Parma, Idaho. I joined the church August 5th, 1977. Just want them to know I am still active, and have several grandchildren serving missions and marrying in the temple, and I am so grateful! I would love to hear from them.

Looking for Elder Kohler from Idaho 17 Dec 2020
Elder Kohler served in the Broken Arrow ward in 1982 or 1983. I have some great picture of him and his companion whose first name was Rory but I cannot remember his last name. Getting old is not one of my better features. Help appreciated. Email rbstalcup@sbcglobal.net or call (918) 338-9355 if you have information. Thanks in advance.

Looking for Lawton Elders 1990 11 Jan 2020
I was baptized Aug 12, 1990 in Lawton, OK while in Army Basic Training at Fort Sill. I believe an Elder Ballard baptized me or was one of the witnesses. I wish I knew the names of the other Elders who taught me but if, by a miracle, any of you taught soldiers in Fort Sill, Lawton, OK from June - Aug 1990, please contact me. That day was one of the best days of my life and has shaped everything that has happened to me since. I serve faithfully in the Church and have a son on a Mission.

Even if I never hear from these Elders, thanks to all of you for serving Missions!

Step-daughter 13 Aug 2014
My lovely step-daughter, Makena Ritter, left today for her Oklahoma Tulsa Mission. I'm so excited for her! She will not only grow spiritually out there, she will provide a so-called "Miracle-Grow" for others out there who are ready to come to Christ. Just like a plant needs water and sunlight, Jesus washed the feet of others and he was their sunlight. I know that Makena is going to be amazing!

hello 21 Jan 2012
I know this is going to sound so weird but we lived in Tulsa Oklahoma from May 1998 to Dec 1999 our names are Clint and Diane Smith at the time we had 4 kids Krystal, Peter, Jacob and Katelynn we also had a baby born in August. Any ways my Kids were very famous for asking the missionaries if they had a place to eat and invited them over anytime. the reason I am asking is that my boy just recieved his call to Tulsa Oklahoma and wanted to try and find some members we used to know but it has been so long and I was bad and didnt keep in touch with anyone so I thought I might see if any missionaries might remember us and maybe have kept in touch with some of the members there. If any one remembers us or has any info that would be great. thank you Diane Smith

looking for missionaries who baptized me 11 Dec 2011
Hi, my name is Jesika May and I am looking for some of the missionaries who helped me in the process of joining the church. I was baptized in the Carthage Missouri Ward of August of 2000 (age 16) along with my little brother, Eric & my niece, Brittany. Eric & I went through several missionaries as we were in the middle of an adoption when we started investigating the church and had to wait for it to be official before we could be baptized. Sadly, we've lost touch with all the missionaries who helped in the process. My roommate is a returned missionary and suggested this website to help. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks so much,
Jesika May

looking for a missionary 13 Mar 2011
I am looking for a missionary that taught me. I remember his companion's name, Valesquez... I believe he was from the DC area. He had a difficult last name, I believe it started with a U or a W and he would have served around 1997-1998/99. I was 15-16 at the time so...I wasn't really paying attention. If anyone has any info please contact me!
Ciao

Ft. Smith 12 Jan 2006
I was a missionary in Ft. Smith in 1977 when Ft. Smith was moved to the Tulsa mission. At that time, I was transfered over to Mississippi, and stayed in the Arkansas Little Rock Mission. We lived at 1922 North "G" street in an apartment that was part of a house owned by Miss Stein, who was jewish (she lived in the front of the home). The missionaries had been staying at that location for years and years. I am just curious when Miss Stein died (she was old then) and what ever happened to the apartment (she wanted LDS missionaries there as long as she was living. When was that location discontinued for missionaries?).

advice. 07 Feb 2004
i've been home from the mission for about six weeks now.. he'll soon find out how significant that amount of time is (it's equal to one transfer in the field). the weather is one of the most noticeable things when you enter the field, especially the long summers. i remember coming into tulsa 11 january 2002 and it was easily 70-75 degrees and HUMID. nothing you're going to be used to, that's for sure. you will acclimate after your first summer, so don't worry. i got nosebleeds my first three weeks home (because of the dry climate) and i still can't keep my hands from drying out. you have a great mission president, wonderful elders and sisters, and i can honestly say that serving in the bible belt will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. it is hard, real hard, to be a full-time missionary.. but it's so good. make the most of your time. prepare early, i want to stress that. by the way, i was born in az.. lakeside. lived there off and on during my early childhood - it's what i still call home. the mission is my second home.. utah's just where i live. good luck!
