Shawn and Joella Shanklin were married in 1992 and after getting his degree in Michigan, took a hospital administrator's job in Louisiana. Shawn negotiates contracts with large physician groups and hospitals. They have two boys, ages 4 and 2 and are expecting a child in February. He is a scoutmaster of 20 boys.
Shawn says of New Orleans: "it is an interesting town...the "most obese," "least fit" and "worse public school systems" are among its recognitions. We have survived Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, muggy summers and the Saints. We do enjoy the food, people, the uniqueness and golfing in the winter. Anytime you are in New Orleans please do not hesitate to call, but better come quick, because if Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, so will this place."
Shawn served in Villa Flores/Lima with Silva and McLoney, in Moyopampa with Fernandez and Acuna, Huancayo with Zapana and Fiestas, Collasuyo with Bonifacio, Mendoza, Herrera and Espinosa and the office with Moser, Acuna and Harrop as an assistant. |
