| Comments: I'm happily married to a returned missionary who served from Baguio mission. We have been married for three years, don't have any children yet but we are working on that. A hiring from a hospital brought me and my husband here in Lubbock, TX. The first thing we did when we arrive here is to find the church. We found a number of the temple in the phone book and ended up talking to the wife of our bishop. They came to our apartment and introduced themselves, since then we have been attending church and had several church callings. We enjoy being here and have a wonderful ward with warm ward members. We are also blessed to have a temple just beside the chapel. We had been through a lot of trials and challenges in our marriage including the loss of our baby, it was the most difficult trial of my life and was very consuming. But our faith in the Lord and His gospel gave us the strength to move on with an eternal perspective that we will be together as a family forever someday. I still continue to count my blessings and am always grateful to my Heavenly Father for my family, my husband and church members who have ben supportive to us. I'm grateful for the gospel in my life, the atoning sacrifice of our savior Jesus Christ and the love of our Heavenly Father. | |
