hi guys, i am from region VIII and you will hear so much of me.
the latest: last month(March03) the strong typhoon hit Leyte and Samar again (what's new?) I'm sure allof you have experienced the strong blows of nature in my home island. But as usual people got used to it, all those landslides, fallen coconut trees etc... and few people have died in Catbalogan and some place in Leyte. The roads have been repaired on most places already (Tacloban to Calbayog) including the San Juanico Bridge that have undergone major repair, few weeks ago vehicles were not allowed to pass, but now things are back to normal.
For those who have been in Calbayog and my hometown Sta. Margarita(8km away from Calbayog) things have not changed much, its still a peaceful community of people struggling to survive and I still see and admire those missionaries that passes our streets each day.
In Calbayog City, a very few establishments have been added and the fare to Sta. Margarita has increased from 5 to 7 pesos.
I live in Cebu now but still goes there all the time, by the end of this month I'm going again and will post some news when I get back.
