The windows of heaven are opened 28 Jun 2006
When I join the Church as a single adult, I notice that we are in great demand in serving in the Church, have calling left and right, the whole Sunday is not enough to make the work done, working with the missionaries, visiting the young women, meetings etc...And so, I thought, this is a purpose of being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, to serve others and not expect to be serve. Time comes that all things becomes natural, receiving more than one calling is not overwhelming anymore, untill I desided to go on a mission. I have a polio when I was 1 year old and walking is one thing I dont enjoy doing. I am the 4th from the eldest but the three of the oldest are all married and my father died before I become a member and so, I know my family needs me but I went on mission anyway, again, to serve others. In the first 3 months, I thought, I will not be able to survive, it was rainy days when I got in Tacloban, it was very slippery and flooded in most of our areas including our apartment. It wasn't easy for me and I fell down almost everyday but Heavenly Father comforted me and helps me to survive and be able to serve 18 months of my mission with a chance to trained two woderful sisters that strengthen my testimony and work harder, enduring to the end with obedience to the Lord. Right after my mission I got the calling that I ask to the Lord, to be with Young Women and at the same time with Single adult, I teach Seminary and Institute as well and a Young Women President of our Ward. The Job came to me as easy as I can't imagine with a permission to leave anytime for any church reason. Temple marriege came just like the job. I was blessed with such a wonderful man who take me to Temple of the Lord, a healthy and very handsome baby boy and a place to live that make all things easier for me. Now, I don't have to walk too far, I can just drive. My life becomes so easy and so much joy, and recently, my mother and nephew and niece just joined the church and my youngest brother is very active working with the missioanaries and will be plannning to go on mission. I know Heavenly Father hears our prayer and he will reward us according to the desires of our heart and the works that we do. It is really that sacrifice brings blessings and the windows of heaven are open to all that are willing to obey and serve God and His children. I loved my mission and all the people that I served with.
