Timpanogos Temple. We lived in 3 places in Orem in our first year of marriage. First in an apartment then in a home we bought and then in my parents home to house sit for them for the next 3 years, we're renting our home to family.
March 21st 2011 our first child, daughter, Jane was born. She is very cute and we are very blessed to have her in our home.
Lisa is a Nurse Practitioner working as a dermatologist at the Central Utah Clinic, across the street from the Provo Hospital. I'm working and taking classes at BYU... still. Health is better, read as - more manageable - but not 100%. Lisa and I love to travel - Germany, South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, England, national parks in the states, and family in the western states.
Still using my Portuguese because of...
Traveling: back to Portugal once and to Mozambique twice and will go sometime before Nov. 2012 to Brazil.
Work: Routinely calling all Temples worldwide, including Brazilian ones where not all of the engineers speak english.
Family: My dad is the Temple President in Recife Brazil and a Portuguese Professor, on sabbatical, at BYU. Several siblings speak portuguese and I'm teaching my wife to speak before we go to Brazil to visit my parents. |
