I have been really bad about keeping my profile updated, but Shelly and I are about to make a pretty big change, so I thought I would post what's going on.
First of all, we have been having so much fun raising our little boy, Benson, this past year. He will be one on the 1st of February and he is a pretty big kid! I have been staying busy by working down at Brent Brown Toyota since I graduated in December 2006. For the past several months, though, I have been looking into the field of Military Intelligence and this next month I am going to sign on through the Army National Guard. I will spend the next seven months training in S. Carolina and Arizona, and this fall our plan is to move to Monterey, CA to attend the Defense Language Institute where I will learn Arabic for a year and a half. During the month, or so, in between Arizona and California, I am going to get to go to Romania with the Guard as part of a joint training mission with the Romanian Army.
We are really looking forward to the changes and adventures that are ahead of us. Hopefully we will run into some of you along the way if you are living in the Tuscon or Monterey areas! |
