It has been a while since my last update. I am no longer with Caterpillar Inc. although I enjoyed my many moves with the Company (4 states in 5 years). The Lord has given us a new opportunity to grow as a family. I now work as an engineer for a company called Alstom Turbo Machines (based out of Europe). We make nuclear and steam turbines for large power plants around the world. The family and I spent a year just outside of Zurich Switzerland for training and had the time of our lives. It was neat to spend time again in Europe and I was able to use my Romanian language on occasion. I am now back in the states helping the company build the largest steam turbine factory in the world.
We currently reside just outside of Chattanooga TN. I bought a small farm of 32 acres and try to manage that on the side as well. Jennifer is home schooling the boys and the property gives them opportunity for lots of "field trips". Needless to say it has been a fun ride. The boys are growing like weeds and keeping us very busy. Ammon is now 9 Kaleb turns 8 next month and Hyrum will be 6 soon. I currently serve as the first councilor in the bishopric and Jennifer is loving her calling in the primary.
We have a nice apartment attached to the house with a separate kitchen and bath. It is open to anyone who is in the area and needs a place to stay. We love catching up with old friends so please come pay us a visit. We will even saddle up the horses if you would like to take a ride! |
