I've had a fun and adventuresome year! I went down-hill skiing for my first time on a ski trip in Banff, Canada. I went to the East coast and visited Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York visiting all of the National and Church historical sites. I made my annual trip to the Boundary Waters and went for 8 days this year. I also backpacked South America on my own going through Bolivia, Peru, Chile, and Argentina. And while visiting the floating islands on Lake Titicaca, I got to steer the boat for a while. They were just going to leave me there, but I insisted that someone else steer the boat. What were they thinking? There were also visits to Appleton, WI. I left my executive consulting job and have been looking for a new job. My calling is the Share the Wealth Committee Chair, which oversees volunteers who help or work with kids and youth during the week and I am the Institute Choir president. It's been a great year! |
