Wow, so it's been 3 years since I last updated this thing....
Joel graduated from ASU with his doctorate in musical arts (DMA) in May of 2006. He got a job teaching high school orchestra here in Cedar City, UT. He is also working as adjunct faculty at SUU conducting the Jazz Band.
We had another daughter, Sophia, a couple weeks before we moved up from Arizona. She just turned a year old in July. She is a feisty little baby who knows what she wants and climbs on everything.
Bria will turn 7 next month. She is enjoying 2nd grade and reading exceptionally well. She still plays violin and is working on the last song in the Suzuki Book 1, which is a huge accomplishment for someone her age.
Chloe is 4. She enjoys preschool and is my little artist. She is always drawing or making something creative. She also plays the violin, but doesn't enjoy it as much as Bria does and is still learning Twinkle, twinkle little star. :)
I am doing a million things. I am an adjunct vocal faculty member at SUU, am running my own studios both at home and at Tuacahn High School for the performing arts in St. George, and am the vocal coach for the high school musical this semester. The kids keep me super busy, too, of course! I am working in the YW as Mia Maid adviser, which has been fun. I have never been in YW before. Joel is in the EQ presidency. |
